for those who have started University this year september 2010; INORDER TO BE A QUALIFIED LAWYER U MUST GRADUATE WITH THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS

• English Legal System
• European Union Law
• Contract law
• Land Law
• Equity and Trusts
• Law of Tort
•  Constitutional and Administrative Law
• Criminal Law

on additional to that there will be various OPTIONAL subjects you must learn.. The list is massive so check with your university what they offer to their students
 note; there are some colleges and Universities which do not inform their students on the above POINTS by word of mouth and most of students who are  shy to communicate and  new starters hate reading welcome package that contains such crucial information so they end up not knowing untill somewhere in May where universities get summer holiday AND THAT IS TOO LATE
so be INFORMED & WISE  in your selection- think who you want to be and what you must achieve to be that. GOODLUCK!
